We have worked with Go North East since 2013, delivering research to understand what existing and potential customers think about a range of subjects, including: routes & services; ticketing & pricing; and on-board facilities.
Young people were the focus of this recent project, all about understanding behaviours and attitudes, to ensure that this important demographic choose bus as they become more independent. It involved interviewing over 750 16-25s, face-to-face, across Tyne & Wear and County Durham. The result was robust and representative insights around the level of current and potential bus use; how travel habits can be influenced; which media channels have the most reach; and what young people are willing to pay for bus travel.
The results were used by GNE to refine their ticketing and promotional offer for 16-25s, building upon their hugely successful £1 single fare for under 18s.
Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss how we could help you understand more about your target audiences.
